While management is still being secretive, OMC can confirm that KOIN is preparing to launch a new one-hour program weekdays at 4pm. The show's format is still unknown, but we've learned that 10 people are being hired. Several of those positions have come and gone on KOIN's jobs page, as we've noted earlier. Those positions have included an anchor, reporter, producer, photographer, Ignite director and news video editor. The anchor job is among the listings that remain:

A 4pm program would compete with news programs from KATU and KPTV, both of which premiered in early 2008.
