*Cough* 95.5 should be 107.5 in the title

The show had top ratings in it's target demos but became too expensive for CC Portland to pay for.

Sooooooooo, obviously we are no longer on the air as of 12/1, we are
obviously working to change that but it will take some time. It wasn't
anything we did or said and we don't know what is going to happen in
the future at the station but please be patient and... keep connected with
us. We will let you know any news ASAP regarding the show. To help you

We are working on a temporary fan site until we hopefully get our website back and that should be up sooner

and if the PLAYHOUSE was kicked off because of money, someone should have said something. i know that all the listeners would have done everything they could to help. i know plenty of people that would have held a sign if they needed to raise money for them and i would have had the biggest sign. if there is anything 503/559 can do to help, WELL DO IT.

The show was funny as hell and it's for people who have good sense of humor not for uptight mofos!! I can't wait for their come back!

It used to be a good show but it really went downhill over the past year or so. It was great when it was on 95.5 and had Ebro, Sony, and Egypt (even though she annoyed me). But they clearly lost their mojo and you can't deny that. I was telling my daughter a month ago that I thought they were going to be canceled soon. It just wasn't the same show anymore. PK needs to revamp and realize he needs characters like he had before and he will be okay. But sticking your friends and wife on the show with you just isn't going to work long term. He's going to have to diversify to stay relevant.

pk is an idiot, and whats with his voice trying to sound cool, well...hes not. the show was lame. i agree that if anyone didnt like it that they should change the channel, like i did. johnjay and rich show is original and funny. my daughter, who is 13, even said that 107.5 is better now in the morning cuz they play music. and what radio station in oregon doesnt play the same ten songs over and over again, oregon hip hop stations pretty much suck. they need to play music that hasnt been heard yet. more variety. clear channel sucks to. thanx

If someone is to talk ish about people, one needs to learn the proper way to write sentences. Fragments of a sentence do not work in the real world or on paper, if it did work than everyone would be yoda's and haiku writers. "They are all about the money. Live with it." one would say that should be one sentence "They are all about the money so live with it.". That sounds significantly better and now you don't sound like a person breathing out of oxygen mask. "PK and crew really sound - stupid. No other word works" Is it possible to try and just use one sentence Don? "Pk and the crew really sound stupid (no dash needed), (comma it connects the two crappy sentences) no other word best describes them (you used a word that is for describing, so I figured it would be better if we stated that we were describing them). "They are dull tools in the garage" (YEAH! great analogy but I rather be a dull tool than a dull writer using horrible cliches) "I happened by last week and heard music." "I happened to change the channel to the playhouse last week and heard music" (As always Don... the question is What happened? Did you want to tell us how you felt after you heard music? You need to be a little more descriptive.) Ironically your last sentence "Wish them the best, but a talk show won't work since they really aren't talented enough." could be written better. "Wish them the best, but a talk show wont work without talent."

Look I am not here to start anything but for gosh sakes reading your comment was lik talking during an asthma attack.

The playhouse grew on me, and now they're gone. PK wont be getting the batmobile ever now.

It is a shame they canceled the playhouse. I looked forward to a few hours a day of not listening to the same 20 songs played over, and over, and over. The other morning shows are lame. How do people listen to Jon J and Rich? Jeezus it's bad. Best of luck Playhouse crew............looking forward to your return in the Spring.

I HAVE LISTENED TO THE PLAYHOUSE SINCE THEY STARTED THE SHOW. I LOVED THE SHOW THEN AND I LOVE IT NOW. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT RADIO WOULD CANCEL A NUMBER 1 SHOW. I LOVED TURNING THE RADIO ON WHILE DRIVING TO WORK JUST SO I COULD LAUGH AT THEM. THEN WHEN I GOT TO WORK I'D TURN IT ON AT MY DESK, EVERY DAY.

I WANT THE PLAYHOUSE BACK.

It's not worth listening to the radio in the morning without the playhouse. I don't even turn it on anymore. I have been a listener since day one, when the playhouse had sonie, ebro and scooter. hope to hear you again, soon.

The playhouse is hands down my FAVORITE radio show! I have never laughed so hard! Obviously some a-hole with no sense of humor is behind the cancellation of this hilarious show.

They will be back and until they are I will be listening to CD's on my way to work. All of the other morning shows on the dial are LAME and quite frankly, ANNOYING!

So I thought maybe they had taken some time off for the holidays at first. We were okay with that than we realized okay WTF its still not on where is PK and the crew. My daughter and I would listen to them in the morning during our commute, so she tells me today as she's getting out of the car,"Mom you have to google them and see what's going on" so here I am. I also missed Egypt even though at times when she'd go off I thought she needed to shut up I was tired of her interrupting every 2 seconds. We don't listen to the radio anymore in the morning its boring. I hear music the rest of the day my mornings were to wake me up get me going and to enjoy the time I spent driving in the morning. I don't care to hear anything anymore because the playhouse is gone. We'll be checking on the Playhouse to see where they land so we can follow them!!! Wish you all Luck!!!

Okay the only thing that is pathetic is u whiners! The playhouse is the best thing that PTown has to offer as a show! The radio stations all suck ass! The playhouse is one of the most humorous and funny shows ! I do admit i miss Egypt! she was annoying but omg she was funny! miss you guys alot me and my hubby both! We hope u guys get on the air soon! We will be waiting !!!! Been fans since u guys got on the air and met u all once downtown! Keeping it REAl!
