Did I miss another episode at the revolving door that is KATU? Who is their new reporter Greg Knight, featured on their website, and Saadia (didn't get the last name) who is not featured yet? Anyone know who left?

Knight and Saadia

I mentioned Knight in this story. Could Saadia have been Saadia Van Winkle? If so, she may have simply been a DC reporter for an ABC affiliate, rather than a KATU reporter.

Thanks, Mitch. I remember Lauren but forgot Knight came in. Saadia (yes, Van Winkle it was) was in-studio during her report and one of the other comments was that she is a producer/writer so maybe they were short-staffed for on-air talent. After all, it was Sunday at oh-dark-thirty.

I'm up early on the weekends,

I'm up early on the weekends, and I've seen her consistently every show - usually several times during the couple hours. I don't think it's a fill-in kind of gig, plus I agree with the post at the bottom, a producer or writer jumping in front of the camera? Maybe in Nebraska, but not here. You don't just throw people on-air in a top 25 market as part of your news team. Plus she doesn't seem at all nervous and skittish like the writers KATU uses in their Columbian weekend segment.

Saadia Van Winkle

The Saadia Van Winkle mentioned in http://www.linkedin.com/in/saadiavanwinkle is the same at KATU. From what I hear, she is a producer or writer on the morning show.

KATU peeps

A producer/writer reporting? They never introduce Sadia any differently than the other reporters. I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong here...but I'm pretty sure she started, at least in front of the camera, before Greg - why would she not be listed with a bio if he already is? It seems oldschooljournalist is right and she is indeed the same person in the link above, the youtube video on there has her covering some pretty big stuff, and it sure looks like the same girl, hair's a little different. White House to KATU? I'm guessing a boyfriend/husband is involved.
