Forum: Twitter etiquette question

Check out the post from @manoelos on Twitter. It's from Manny Fantis, the News Director at KTVL in Medford. Seems someone in management would have a little more professionalism. (or class?) Or is it gloves-off for Twitter? I can see maybe reporters or producers making a post like that, but someone who even identifies themselves as management in their bio?

Well he tweets that his station always breaks stories, has new stuff, and the competition has content three days old. But when it comes to ratings his station is in second. He probably thought they'd be number one this year with the hiring of their new anchor and their exclusive stories. Just goes to show ya.

What does that mean?

If the competition is a day early, doesn't that make you a day behind them? What was the story they had two days in a row? And how do you get the story before everyone else if you don't enterprise?
