CLEVELAND — Several Ohio companies, including a well-known restaurant chain, announced layoffs and furloughs this week.
P.F. Chang’s, a restaurant chain, announced layoffs at eight locations throughout Ohio. The company blamed COVID-19 for a downturn in business.
The InterContinental Hotels Group in Central Ohio announced that Crowne Plaza Columbus has terminated its contract with the company. Nearly 50 employees will be laid off from the hotel starting Nov. 30.

Letters of notice warning of the impending layoffs and furloughs were filed with the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services.
