6 Best Pop-Culture-Inspired Costume Ideas For Halloween 2020

Halloween celebrations will be a little different this year as traditional trick-or-treating is currently discouraged in adherence of safety precautions to help slow the spread of COVID-19. This translates to doing away with large festive gatherings in favor of more sober and humble celebrations at home — at least for the time being.

This does not mean that you can’t go all out in celebrating the spooky holiday, though. One way of celebrating Halloween without relying on relatively large crowds is by dressing up in your favorite costumes. From pop-culture-themed costumes to more wacky fare, these costume ideas can prove that you can enjoy the spirit of Halloween safely in 2020, whether with those at home or from a distance with others far away celebrating the feast with you online:

If you are a fan of Sylvester Stallone’s iconic star-making boxer, then you might want to wear these officially licensed replicas of Rocky Balboa’s black-and-gold boxer shorts and robes which were first featured in Rocky II.

Available in small, medium, large and XL sizes, the short features the cinematic Philly boxer’s name printed on the waistband with his Italian Stallion logo on the left front leg.

The similarly colored robe, on the other hand, is one-size-fits-all, so it fits well regardless of body size, with Rocky’s Italian Stallion logo printed on the back and his name on the breast.

Available in six sizes, the jersey features the name of either Taz, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, Tweety or Lola Bunny printed on the back with the Tune Squad logo printed at the front.
