Allen QB General Booty

What he did: General Booty is the latest in a long line of transfer quarterbacks behind powerhouse Allen’s success. The California transfer was nearly perfect on Friday, completing 11 of 12 passes to lead Allen to a 52–27 win over No. 9 Humble Atascocita and secure the Eagles’ 77th straight regular-season victory. Allen has dominated every opponent that’s crossed its path so far this season, and there’s plenty more to come from Booty as the Eagles continue their crusade to a potential sixth championship.

The stats: 11-12, 260 pass yards, 3 TDs

Who is he?: A 6-3, 194-pound senior quarterback

He said it: “[Playing for Allen has] been awesome. All the players and coaches have been great. Just getting to know them, and the family atmosphere they’ve created up at Allen and playing in a stadium like that and all of our facilities, it’s just been amazing.

Coach said it: “His peers, his teammates elected him captain, so his team members think a lot about him and his leadership skills and what he does on a daily basis. The way that he leads us, he puts in a lot of time studying who we’re playing. If you put in the time to study the video and then how you practice, it gives you an opportunity to perform well.” – Terry Gambill

Did you know: When he’s not taking care of business on the field or studying Allen’s next opponent, Booty can be found fishing and spending time with friends.
